The action plan for 2024 for the implementation of the Public Procurement Development Programme in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2024-2028, as part of the measure “Strengthening Administrative Capacities of Contracting Authorities and Economic Operators”, the activity of the organisation of training for the preparation of officials for taking the public procurement officer exam is foreseen.
In this regard, in the period from 23 to 25 October 2024, the Public Procurement Office held a three-day training for exam preparation within the framework of the EU Public Finance – Management Facility Project, which was financed by the EU and implemented by UNDP.
About 1,000 participants attended the training on each day.
The aim of the training was to improve the knowledge and understanding of public procurements of persons dealing with public procurements both at the contracting parties and at the bidders, as well as to help prepare for examination for public procurement officers organised by the Office.
