The Public Procurement Office, in accordance with the legal powers, is competent to submit requests for initiation of misdemeanour proceedings for misdemeanours prescribed by the Law on Public Procurement (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”, Nos. 91/19 and 92/23).
In this regard, on 4 June 2024, with the support of the USAID Project for the Improvement of Public Procurement, a workshop was held on “Liability for Offences Related to Public Procurement”.
At the aforementioned workshop, representatives of the Public Procurement Office and judges of misdemeanour appellate courts had the opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences regarding the initiation and conduct of misdemeanor proceedings for misdemeanors in the field of public procurement.
