The Public Procurement Office, with the support of the Project “Support to Further Strengthening of Public Procurement System in Serbia” organised the fourth two-day Forum on public procurement, “10 Months of Implementing the New Public Procurement Law and new Public Procurement Portal“, online, on 27-28 May 2021.
At the Forum, the representatives of the Public Procurement Office presented to the participants the achievements in implementing the Public Procurement Law and the use of the Public Procurement Portal, while the representatives of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures (the Review Body) and of the Serbia Chamber of Commerce provided their assessment of the Law implementation and Portal use. The participants were addressed by the expert team tasked with the development of the Public Procurement Portal, who, together with the Office, presented the legislative framework, requirements and manner of conducting electronic auctions, as well as most frequent dilemmas about the use of the Portal.
Given the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and abiding by all the epidemiological measures, around 500 contracting authorities, bidders and other interested participants registered for the Public Procurement Forum were enabled to follow the Forum online.
