A representative of the Public Procurement Office participated in the workshop in Vrdnik on 27- 29 May 2021, organised by the Ministry of Finance and supported by the Project “Support to the Ministry of Finance within Sector Reform Agreement”, implemented by KPMG, aimed at finalisation of the Draft Public Finance Management Programme for the Period 2021-2025.
The goal of the workshop was to align the Programme draft and its Action Plan to the comments provided by the European Commission and SIGMA. Besides the Public Procurement Office, the participants were from other public administration authorities comprising the Working Group for the Programme Development: the Public Policy Secretariat, Tax Administration, Customs Administration, Treasury Department, Public Debt Department, Central Harmonisation Unit, Ministry of Finance, the Government’s Audit Office of the EU funds (Audit Authority), etc.
The representative of the Public Procurement Office took an active part within the Objective II and Measure 2.5. “Strengthening the Electronic Public Procurement System”, aiming at development of indicators, budget and narrative part of the Programme.
