The conference “Future Trends in Construction Industry” was organised by the Association of Consulting Engineers of Serbia on 10-11 October 2024.
Representative of the Public Procurement Office presented new legal solutions regarding the criteria for awarding contracts in public procurement procedures, which are in effect from 1 January 2024.
It was especially pointed out that when conducting public procurement procedures for five types of services, including architectural and engineering services, the criteria for awarding contracts by contracting authorities cannot be based only on price, but on the basis of the price-quality ratio or costs using a cost-effectiveness approach.
